Having issues with switching cameras, and the resolution breaking. See the attached image. It thinks 1000x2000 is a 1:1 ratio... 2000x2000 is a 2:1 ratio...

Yeah, because you set the pixel aspect ratio to 2. Should be 1.

That's the issue. Aspect ratio changes with resolution changes or resolution changes changing aspect ratio. It doesn't lock in unless you lock it.

It is locked in the screenshot but I did that on purpose to try and reset it. When I was changing 1000x1000 to 2000x1000 it was unchecked.

1000x2000 is not 1:1 and TG should not be showing that regardless of checking lock, which would actually lock in 2000x2000 and change it from 1000x200 (if you enter in 1 it changes resolution as aforementioned).

But the issue is it's mathing broke and it thinks it's changing it in 1:1 ratio when it's changing in 1:2 ratio.

WAS

Also occasionally switching to another camera with RTP on, and disabling crop in that camera, the RTP won't respond and continue rendering the crop.

Dune

I don't know what you do, but I never touch pixel aspect, just lock aspect ratio ìf I'm satisfied with it and set desired size. Pixel aspect ratio remains the same, and in most cases shouldn't be touched!

WAS

That's how the problem came about. It was locked. Went to move 1000x1000 to 2000x2000 but it only went to 1000x2000 while reading aspect ratio 1. Which that is not. Unlocking and relocking didn't fix it, and unlocking and entering in different resolutions was still showing a inaccurate aspect ratio.

The original project is couple years old, used in various versions of TG. Not sure if that adds any junk XML that could interfere with anything.

Dune

I see. Must have been an error in the old scene code or so. I've never encountered such a problem.

WAS

Had the same issue again on another open/save of the file so must be. I deleted the camera node and made another. Hopefully that's the end of that. Really trips me out cause first few times I didn't notice and was like "What's wrong with these files? Are they half rendered!?" lol
