So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Fantastic clouds. It looks like a real photo.

Indeed very well done. I'd say that there is very little real tweaking that you'd need to do.

You're getting there. I think they're still a little rough, if you can make them smoother they will look much better. Not that I'm one to talk, of course.
You know what's worse than not being able to do anything right or make anything good? Not being able to blame it on anyone but yourself.

thanks for your comments

currently I render this picture with a second cloud layer and some other parameter' s, I will post it when its down...

info: athomsphere sample 32, cloud sample 1024, render detail 1,.... the rendertime for the first picture was 25 hours, the new picture resolution is 4000x3000 pixel, the pre dot rendering runs since 32 hours.... I am waiting...

my render machine is a Athlon FX 57 2,8 GHz.... its a fast CPU but for tg2 to slow.... ;D

Very nice looking clouds, you're on the right way I guess :)
Looking forward to see the next version. 32h and the pre-pass isn't finished yet? That's going to be a hell of a render-time. What are all the settings? Perhaps rendering at smaller size would make more sense....unless you want to have it on poster  ;D

gastar

Yes, I will use the next render for a poster (80x60cm) in my kitchen.... I hope the render will be good...

I think the render need 100-150 hours or more....

pre-pass is 4/5 finish
athomsphere sample 32, 2x cloud sample 1024, render detail 1, AA 3, GI 2, size 4000x3000

Ah I understand, thank you.
The rendersettings are quite fair. Only thing which I think would speed up the render quite a lot is to lower the detail setting to about 0.85 or so.
I think you'll hardly see the difference and it will probably render almost twice as fast.
Don't understand me wrong, no offense here, just trying to be helpful/thinking along.

dhavalmistry

if you want smooth clouds....lower the density below 2, increase the edge sharpness to around 9 or so and also increase the smallest scale to about quarter of the feature scale

Dude, these clouds are perfect.  I wouldn't change a thing.
