I hope this image is bright enough for everybody to see....unlike last time....

I am happy with the foreground but the background looks dull....even though I rendered with 15 AA...it doesnt seem like it...

quality was 0.7
AA 15
GI 2,2

only took about 6 hrs to render...

The problem in the background are the nearly 90 degree slopes. They are very difficult to shade and mostly look not very detailed.
But the foreground really looks nice!

...and the background looks pretty far away.

Nice work.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

I really like the lush vegetation in the foreground. Nice work!
It's pretty obvious that the quality of the vegetation is due to the high AA settings, always thought that AA @ 10 was sufficient but this looks way better :)
The background is indeed a bit dull, but that's also because those trees are quite darker compared to your foreground.
The main issue is what cajomi stated, like in TG0.9 it is still very difficult to shade steep slopes and to make them look interesting.
Don't know how to do it but you might try to replace those mountains with other ones using some kind of masking technique.
Maybe loading another heighthfield on top of those mountains and checking "flatten terrain first" will do the magic, only thing is that the edge of the loaded terrain should have something interesting :) The plain soft atmo is a good choice and I'm happy you didn't add a moon :)
Looking forward to see it updated ;)

really nice image man, especially like those foreground bushes. did you make them yourself?
perfection is not when there's nothing more to add, it's reached when nothing more can be left out

You could apply some lateral displacement, either with a Strata Shader, or feeding a Power Fractal into a Redirect Shader on the X and Z axis.
