Africa
December 23, 2007, 05:01:03 PM
I needed a name so Africa it is.
I really wasn't going to post this one (at least not yet), but since it took 24 hours I decided I might as well do it. If you look, you can see the edge of the population through the mist so I'm going to have to fix that.

Wow man, you're on a roll lately...aren't you
Great image, again. I really have to look carefully to see the edge of population, or I look in the wrong place, perhaps.
I like the dramatic lighting and its colors on this one, well done!

Very nice, nvseal. Like your progress.
So this is Disney World. Can we live here?

I really like your lighting techniques.
I think the foreground sand could use some more detail, but other than that, a very nice image.

My favorite thing about this one is the lighting. As for the edge of the population, unless you knew it was there, you wouldn't be able to tell.

Great work. I agree with everyone else about the atmosphere.

Thanks for the comments. I went ahead and fixed the population issue so here is the next version (essentailly the same as the first version).

Oh, yeah. Nice. The sun is a little bright, but then it would be.
Good terrain and believable setting. Good point of view, too.
So this is Disney World. Can we live here?
