Macros were discussed earlier in the year as a way of simplifying some of the more complex node architectures and it was suggested that  a macro system would be included in the TG2 release version. Has there been any progress on this? I've done a search for Macro and found nothing relavent so my apologies if I've missed it.

I have a question about the macro system (May not be possible in first commercial release of TG2) will it be possible to have an option that would allow us to the Node Network that went into creating the macro in the first place so people can learn what went into making the macro: or would we have to ask on a case by case bases to see the node network?

;D

Regards to you.

Hi Cyber,

The macro system would most likely just be a way of cleanly wrapping up a bunch of other nodes into one node, with defined inputs and outputs. You would be able to look inside the macro much as you can look inside nodes now, and see all the nodes that implement the functionality of the macro.

There will not be a macro system in the first release of TG2.

Jo
