these are the collection of the landscape paintings I came across while surfing for inspirations....

I think they are really worth a look...

the first is really lovely, and...hmmmm, beer  ;D
perfection is not when there's nothing more to add, it's reached when nothing more can be left out

dhavalmistry

there are 41 paintings in total in the rar file including the 3 displayed here!

May I inquire as to which 19th century artist the three works shown here are by and which software do you require .rar files?

Regards to you.

you can use winrar, get it here

edit: it's free, no need to buy it after the 40 days, if you can live with a popup window

Thanks, DH.  These are really enjoyable scenes.  Inspiration, like you said.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Or try 7-Zip instead as it's open source and does a better job :P - http://www.7-zip.org/

They are from Albert Bierstadt

Thank you dhavalmistry, I have now looked him up on Wikipedia and confirmed that indeed he was a 19th century artist but it wasn't hard to tell from the image you posted from the method of execution, compositional arrangement and technique etc that these are 19th century works.

I prefer the Dutch School but my main area of interest lies in the renaissance just my own preference.

Regards to you.

Interestingly enough, we talked about the art movement that Bierstadt was a part of in US History: the Hudson River school of art.

I really recommend looking up some of the painters that were also a part of this art movement as they are almost our "ancestors," as they were the original group of landscape artists ;).
