for now I am using the transform shader....see if I can find a gap between clouds....

depends on the ground

with high GI and good terrain... could be good....

I agree with Seth. A lightly seen background with too much contrast (to match your windmill horizon) could be fantastic.

here is the full render without any postwork!

I was waiting on the clouds and everything to be setup first before I work on my foreground...

and now that the clouds and everything is all setup....I can finally work on the foreground and get some more light in the scene!

I agree with calico the image as it is is very nice. I have always liked silhouette images anyway. The addition of the powerlines and midsized trees in the middle ground add allot of depth to the image even though they too are silhouetted.

a bigger (1000 x 1429) render is under progress...it should be done within 24 hrs with 200 atmo samples and 0.65 quality!....
