I gonna do some more work with the green areas to try and squeeze out some more detail. I'm also gonna make the clouds thinner and more to scale with the huge mountains. Still needs work but I like where I'm going wit it.

Great start.  I like your plan to create more detail in the green areas.  Very good work.

Ok, with this one version I decreased the cloud's height and increased their altitude. I also moved the sun around and lowered it's elevation which created much cooler shadows on the clouds. I still need to work on the green in the lowlands and I was also thinking about adding a moon in the upper left corner.

here is the next render, i like the green better and also the moon. I think i'm gonna try an overnight render now with increased detail and size.

Dampen the green a tad.  It looks too colorful for this high up.
