But the video card(s) is irrelevant to TG2, and without multithreading, I bet my old P4 would be able to compete with it. Maybe not beat it, but it wouldn't be too far behind.

For 10 grand, it had better make my coffee in the morning ... and perform certain other tasks....    ;D

The spectrum isn't too bad, but my calculator has more grunt and can display 3d graphics (although it is black & white :))
Does this mean I can render TG on the run?

Too right. If you lower the atmo samples, your calculator would do a very nice grainy B/W photo type render  ;D
