Pretty decent overall. What is that horizontal white range (mountains) in the middle? It seems to be out of place.
So this is Disney World. Can we live here?

Looking good so far.
Maybe make the land a little more arid near the equator.
Smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast.

mabye...but i kinda want it to be a mostly jungle planet. Also i'm definatly adding some fatty saturn-like rings to it to make it more interesting, still haven started on the clouds, but i'm getting there

ok here is a quick seven minute render of the planet with some rings, they need some work, creater density, smaller object size etc, but its a start and i think it will turn out cool

Good start. I agree about the density of the rock rings.
Something to think in the future, when you have more time to think about such things, is why are those rings there when the planet looks so full of life.
So this is Disney World. Can we live here?

thanks for the question Calico, i'll ponder it awhile... or I'll just wikipedia the subject
Anyways here is another picture with denser rings and their color made blueish to try and resemble ice. I really like where it's going but i think I might try breaking up the image masks into several set to try and get bands of different color.

Nice work so far. Rings have always seemed to escape me. Mind sharing how you are making them?

I wish it was me who discovered how to do this, I actually just found a thread about rings somewhere in the forum and inserted a custom image mask to shave the rings, here is a link

Neat! my only point of critique is that there seems to be a bit to much colour variety on the seas. I don't know what you're aiming for, but to me it just feels odd.
