Well, it didn't turn out quite as fantastic as I had hoped for during the test renders but that is too late to change now.  :) I should have lowered the cloud altitude before rendering. These clouds are an altered version of a cloud tgc that DH posted sometime last year. 29 hours to render.

Awesome! Love the huge cloudformations :) You're right about their altitude, but it's not really disturbing...
Good image formation and composition by the way, the vegetation looks nice as well.
Is it possible to take a look at your clouds?
Thanks in advance and keep up the good work :)

great clouds formation ! a little darker clouds maybe ?

Very convincing indeed. You can almost smell the impending rain in the air. I like also the pov, with only the tops of the hills showing.

But this doesn't mean anything to me... or to Jack or to Mary. What were your main settings and machine specs? :P

dhavalmistry

oh I just noticed that you gave credit to me....thank you very much....and if you dont mind posting the unaltered TGC (I have been looking for it).

Nice, the only thing that bothers me is those mountains in the back.
The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

Nice perspective  Excellent lighting on the trees.  Great bunches of clouds...good displacements.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Thanks for the comments. This isn't yet were I would like it to be but it is a good start. I just can't seem to get the sharp dark edges like there are in the real thing. About the background hills, I lef those as they were because I was trying to hurry out a render of the clouds.  ;D
DH, here is the tgc. I think this is the orginal one you posted.

Getting dark edges is quite easy actually:

Choose dark cloud color and scatter color, like 0.1 and 0.4
Then increase fake internal scattering so that only dark cloud edges remain.
