Hello, I have tried to join 6 individual images to form a big one. For this I use the program I got with my camera (photo stitch).

This program ask me the focal ditance of the camera. I made some tries, but it is not obvious to choose the best value. Is there a rule to determine the equivalent focal distance of a TG2 camera?

I post the result, I made some post processing to hide the joint between pictures, and limit the grainy aspect of the rays in the atmosphere.

The camera settings can give you a lot of control and one of the setting has to do with FOV.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

If you used the default setting of 60, the equivalent focal length would be about 31mm (relative to 35mm cams)

In order to limit deformation, I divided by 2 the default setting: 30° horizontal with a perspective camera an I render each image in 800*600. I used 50mm for the construction of the whole picture: not so bad for a test and change method :-\.

Thank you for the information, GIMF  ;D, I will search a link between angle and focal length.

Bye,

Here you can find a calculator about halfway down the page.
