Hi all

Haven't been too busy with TG2 recently, but I did knock this up. This is from the .exr version and has had the exposure tweaked in Photoshop (bluuuch  >:( ) I may add a population to the sloping foothills on the right etc, don't know yet.

I like the lighting in both, but...

I think the clouds are too thin for this setup and the ground is too sparse and predictable.  Same problem I have often had - patterns in the terrain.  Work with your Blend Shader and Breakup Shader some more.  Of course, this is blind advice and might not be of any use.

Keep at it.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Ta for that. Yeah, the clouds are a bit thin. I may have a good potch (welsh word meaning fiddle!) with them. The ground.... do you mean the ground cover (bushes) or the displaced fake stones. If its the bushes, I was trying for a stoney desert type look and didn't want too many bushes, though their placement isn't perfect I agree. As for the stones, took me ages to get em like that...  ;D I will keep on potching though, ta for the C&C

Miles, I sort of like the stones, but not their overall color - too unreal.  I love their texture, though.  As for the bushes, they're all the same size.  If you could fix that and disperse them a bit more, it would be more realistic.  Not that I live in the desert, but this is what I remember.

I like the first better...look forward to seeing this evolve!!

I like the atmo and lighting for the most part, but the lighting seems really off in the foreground, it's too consistently bright, like what Calico said. Other than that, I like it
