There are two populations of the fantastic free tree sample by evermotion mentioned here
http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=4725.0
as well as the lush grass by (of course!!) Lightning.
I also added a cloud layer with a low density and raytraced shadows enabled to create those beams.
This one took really long to render.
As usual it's a combination of nine single images. I raised the contrast a bit and sharpened it after image downscaling.

great light i wish to see this one with a bigger atmosphere value to get rid of the grainy look !
it really looks good though.
good job

edit : btw, i don't know if you tried zooming into those trees... because they are great from this distance but in close up, they are sooo... well, the leaves are attached to nothing... it's really buggy...

rcallicotte

I agree with Seth about the atmosphere values.  This really reminds me of an album cover for a 60s group, like the Mamas and the Papas...I like it.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Xpleet

looks nice.

Evermotion's trees are imba, clearly. but for the average scene i think the tree detail is too much.

old_blaggard

Very nice work.  I especially like the lighting here; not just the obvious things like the rays but also the shadows and glow in some of the grass lower down.

great image hannes ;)
lighting looks smashing the trees look amazing i like the leaves but agree with seth about the quality issue at close range :(

Hannes

Thank you all! I didn't have a closer look at the tree, but I liked the amount of detail from a distance.

mr-miley

Outstanding.... after a series of really top class renders this one takes the biscuit. Have a gold star and go to the top of the class  ;D
I love the smell of caffine in the morning

inkydigit

great light and mood, though as has been noted that the trees seem a little buggy...I can see twigs ending abrubtly, and floating leaves

Mr_Lamppost

Quality issues aside this is a first class scene.  8)
Smoke me a kipper I'll be back for breakfast.
