Hi All
Don't know if this has been posted before...
I wanted  to let you know that I just found out that terragen is great also for interiors, I have been play around with other renderers to compare  it.
Probably the others, such as Mental Ray in 3ds, have very nice tools to get cool effects however the speed of the workflow that I have found in TG2
is far greater!
Still having some problems(but maybe it's just me):
- loading texture map in object automatically(when importing obj. the shaders gets across but I need to re-assign textures, color, disp etc)
- reloading objects is a bit strange because if I want to twick my model I have to restart TG2  every time before rendering(maybe would be nice to have a reload botton)

I will try to send some images soon and I think I will throw away all my other renderes fo the time being...

Interesting results! TG2 is definitely not optimized for interior scenes, in workflow nor in rendering capability. But if you like the results, that's great. :) The object handling capability is a bit limited currently, as you know. The OBJ format can be quite different from one program to the next. When the OBJ and accompanying MTL file are appropriately formatted, TG2 can load them just fine and the textures do not need to be remapped. However few programs stick to the standard in this way. One common workflow is to process any model with PoseRay (available for free) and export to OBJ from that program, which seems to produce OBJ files that TG2 handles well. That might help with some of your issues.
