Thanks to buzzzzz for maneuvering a second terrain into the dunes; and, to klas for the grass; and, to 'Hankster's Unique Rocks' for the formations on the left which is actually three separate models.

The scene depicts the erosion of a large mountain that once existed now slowly turning to sand. Or, if you use your imagination, a dragon that may have flown by and left his deposit here.

I really like the rock formation. Interesting and unique scene. The sand dune ridges are a bit distracting though. I know that in real life dune edges are often fairly sharp, but they don't quite look like this.

I agree with Oshyan, also maybe some really tiny fake rocks to give it a better sand texture.
The world is round... so you have to use spherical projection.

This is cool work and I concede to the above opinions.  Work on grainier sand, perhaps.

Oh yeah - I love the far background mountains.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?
