So I downloaded a couple of lightning's vegetation models the other day, and whenever I try to use them, I get error messages like these and the models in question turn out all black and ugly. Help!

You have to enter object settings, multi shader, open the first one and point manually to texture file on your PC. It will automatically change other shaders.

yeah, get this lots....there are even shaders un-attached and un-used that can create errors....just delete them and re-save your tgo.
:) :)

yup these are my earlier models when i didn't know how to assign paths properly sorry about that :-[

You should really delete your old shaders before saving the .tgo's, Jack. It is quite annoying to have so many unused items load up in each object used, not that I'm complaining mind, you are giving them away. ;)
And yes, even when the extra unused shaders aren't plugged in, they still give errors.
It's easy enough to drag a box around them and delete them all together from the edit menu though so, no big deal.

I think the extra shaders are there to provide extra variation for the object. The reason they're still giving errors is that they still have incorrect or missing paths referenced in the shader nodes.
By the way I've also noticed that shader paths dont seem to like spaces in the name, for example My Doccuments/image.bmp gets truncated to just My ets.c.
