Whenever the next update comes out, does anyone know if the Erode Operator will be working properly? I can't imagine a landscape generating program without it.  To tell the truth I haven't tried it for over a year or so. I have a long render going at the moment, otherwise I would give it a go. Has anyone else tried it lately?

As far as I'm aware the erode operator works ok at this point. It doesn't have as much power as something like World Machine or Geocontrol, but it's functional.

Thanks for the reply Oshyan.  I'll try some tests with screenshots, mainly to see how it works with imported terrains. I'm hoping to be able to restrict the erosion to the imported terrain only if that's possible?  What are your or anyone else's thoughts on this?

I'd say that would be exactly what it does do, Buzzzzz. It's a heightfield operator which means it should only affect it. It reads the heightfield and erodes it accordingly, try tests on smaller heightfields like 1000x1000m size to save test-time a default 10000x10000m would take a while to erode, I imagine.
