Thanks to lightning for the Saguaro cactus, bushes and leafless bushes. Also, a thanks to garypoulton for the balloon and a friend for the shack.

I hope they don't crash land
Nice scene, but I am glad I'm not out there. I like your surfacing and colors overall.

What a life! I'd love it.
Is this a reproduction of an original place? If not, you did a fine job making it fairly close. A bit more randomness within the objects such as the cactus and plants would make it much better.
So this is Disney World. Can we live here?

Thank you all for visiting and your comments.
@ calico; it is not a reproduction of another place; but, just a place residing in my head. Regarding the plants, I could not be selective (except with the individual objects) as to where the populations fell while making the scene. I've got to get used to using the painter shader.

I like it. Just find some ways to play with the Painter Shader. I'm sure it might look even better.

I really like the surface color variations - this was done quite well. I agree with Calico, the cacti are a bit too regular in size and shape, though we all know that's hard to resolve in TG2 at this point.
Overall, great work!
