We're working on implementing something like an "off-screen detail" control, which ought to be available in the final release. Hopefully it will address these issues, although at some render cost.

For animations, you should definitely increase the Detail Blending setting in the renderer's "Extra" tab. It increases render times, which is why recently we decided to disable it by default. Setting this to 1 should give noticeably smoother animations.

I'll make a test and report back.

Well I tried re-rendering the frames where the clipping happens with the "Detail blending" set to 1 and its making no determinable difference.

I have also changed this value several times. It does increase the rendering time but to no avail. I am having the same problem on a few scenes now but can't remember seeing it on the tech preview version? Is this a new bug?

Oshyan

There may have been changes in off-screen rendering due to optimizations made, but most likely it has been this way for a while and simply shows up most significantly in animations. As noted above there should be controls in the final version which will help address these problems.
