Wow man! I think I know why Oshyan finds this so striking. The lighting and shadows (from clouds) work extremely well together.
I really like how the light strikes on the trees to the right of the lake. Fantastic!

The bloom effect enhances the contrast quite a bit and gives a thick, believable atmosphere!
