That looks completely different now :)
I like the first one the most. Maybe you can try to render it at higher detail settings? I presume you use the free version and are not able to increase AA?
Also, I think the grasses would look nicer and better scaled if they were a bit smaller.
All in all a nice image, let's say a good start! :)

Thanx, You're a real "source" of inspiration for me...
Your images are really well "crafted" in the very little details.
I own the full "beast" and i'll try to render in higher detail settings.

Thanks for the kind words Ro-nin.
If you need help/advice then just ask.

If you have the full version I'd say start with rendering at 0.8 quality, AA 7 and GI 2/2 with a resolution of 800x600 or 960x720. Depends a bit how fast your machine is.
I like the mitchell-netravalli filter most times, but maybe in this case with non-insane rendersettings the cubic b-spline will be a good option as well.
