My first post here...somehow I keep forgetting I can put images here as well.. ...

The eye is done with an image map and was the original point of this tgd. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.. ...

Cool.  I like the setup and idea, which seems pretty well executed.  I believe the balloon portion of the flying machine should be some really bright colors and that would make the scene stand out more.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Thanks calico but unfortunately that wasn't built by me and I just used the maps it came with. This was done in the old 16 shader version so I wasn't able to mess around with the shaders yet. Will bear that in mind for the future tho.. ...

Asking a lot, maybe, but perhaps you could pull the maps into a paint program and just change to brighter colors.  PS would let you replace the colors.  Or maybe it wouldn't be that easy.

Good pic Bobby, and those clouds are far out. Where did the cacti come from?

I once did some renders for an architect student and they supplied all these .3ds models which was all I could handle at that time..well they didn't work as they were U/V mapped and Imagine3D didn't handle U/V mapping so I found other ways within Imagine to do trees, 2D planes mostly...I only figured out what they were when I got the free XFROG models with TG2. As I never did get paid for the work I did for that student I still use some of these models but won't share as I don't really own them, but they apparently are XFROG models from one of their collections.. ...

From the quality of the Sagueros I suspected that they might be Xfrog's models. Well Maybe I might have a try at doing what that student friend of yours did, and get into my try out of Xfrog. Thanks for the cactiectomy Bobby, and keep on truckin that imagination.

Nice how the soil reflects those surrealistic sky colours.
Looks like a scene for a dream (certainly not a bad one ;)).

domdib

A scene from a dream, or a scene from a fantasy adventure movie  ;)

Our subconciouses must be far to similar... scarey  ;D I was thinking about it and remember a book cover with a large airship on it but I cant remember which "series" of stories it was from. Don't think it was Jerry Cornilius or Elric ???

Could be either...since I've become too cyber for words I haven't touched a book except to move it out of my mouse's way..I'm thinking one of the JC series myself, but The Eternal Champion rings a bell somewhere.. ...
