Hi there.

Been quiet the past couple of weeks, but I finally found something I can work with.

Here's a quick WIP (medium-qual), with a higher-qual detail render to check my displacements will still look ok in higher rez.

Any ideas would be appreciated.  I'm thinging stones, and perhaps a river running in the mid-ground... maybe foliage on top of the ridge (I have the full XFrog suite).  Anything else I can play with?  :D

Cheers,

Eoin.

This is good.  Quality should be more in the final, if possible.  Look at maybe adding a fluff of a cloud or two.

Lighting - have you tried moodflow or Seth's lighting ideas, where you change the Background shader into a Default Shader and play around with the Luminosity and the Environmental light settings?  Another idea would be to take this Default Shader replacement and add an HDR image to it and maybe use a little translucency.  If you do this, then your sun strength can be lower.  Maybe put the sun on soft shadows, too.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Interesting layers, but it seems to me that the fractal power is a little “aggressive”
