Well, there's a little bit of a competition at my place on texturing a 3D scan of a model of some rocks. The geometry is all over the place and will eventually need tidying up, hence some of the dark patches. The competitors are Vue 7.5, V-Ray displacements and me Terragen  ;D

Just thought I'd get some feedback from you guy's critical eye. Plus feelling pressured into posting something :-* ;D

Looks cool. I've been trying to make some rocks myself, the difficult part is getting a decent non distorted UV map ... which you seem to have achieved :)

Pretty damn fine rock texture. The dark patches add to the realism in my opinion. Looks like small areas of softer rock have got weathered away.
