active volcano

hi there,

i tried to make a volcano. it should be the moon "Io" from Jupiter. it is the most active known moon in our sunsystem.

The ground texture is excellent, but the plume from the volcano seems too grainy. Also, wouldn't it be a lighter colour, since I believe it is mainly sulphur?

Nice texture on the ground, but the plume I feel is too bitty.... It almost looks like champagne popping. You could try and make the noise scale bigger and make it a bit more fluffy? Nice though.

domdib is right about the plume and I agree with littlecannon about the ground.  Keep at it.  Not sure about what the compounds in a volcano would be on Io.

I'd like to see this progress, maybe add some different size roks and boulders?...still nice start!
