Very nice.  It is indeed restful.  One small complaint - the tree bark needs to be more realistic.  The bark on the side of the closest tree trunk looks CG.

Nice view... I agree with the other guys, in that the tree bark needs sorting out and to me the colours are a little bit bland. In real life I think they would be more punchy. Maybe a bit more contrast to stop the image looking too flat. Other than that.... Great.

Great choice for a POV. Agree with comments above, trees look great, but could get better with improved texturing.

Lovely mood - I can smell the fresh air - I would bump up the contrast maybe a touch; could be a personal thing, though

updated with fixed textures and larger render.  The original render was 2048 by 1536 before it was run through gimp cropped and resized.  I had to up the resolution of the trunk primative in xfrog to get a better looking trunk along with a new bump map for it.

Great Picture... The adjustments make the second piture look way better and more real... I like the lake behind the the trees too.
