2 more before I visit Australia  ;D

Hui, the second is really impressive. Great work. Reminds me a little bit on a scene in the movie Pear Harbor :D

The first is a very interesting POV, with good DOF, and the stones look good - although you could probably stand to lose the tree on the right, as somehow its trunk looks unconvincing.

The island in the second one is good, but frankly, I don't really like the clouds - they are rather grainy (suggesting a need for increased cloud samples) and the colour is a bit too dull and uniform.

It looks to me like the tree on the right, the image map for the tree truck did not map right. Did it load in for the object?
I really am impressed with the rocks translucency and the DOF.

I prefer the first picture, I dont know why but I love your stones and the blur, great work!
Learning history and science, wait,
Knowing that, will that put food on my plate?
Yeah, can I walk into McDonald's, into the counter,
And tell them you can make limestone from gunpowder,
Will they give me a cheeseburger if I know that shit?

Yeah, they're both great terrains but the clouds on the second one need a distance shader so there's only one or two clouds. They should be a bit whiter too, being grey really kills the mood.
Have a good time in austreeelia.

dunno why I did that

What GI level have you got? The preview is still not optimised to accurately represent GI because it is so slow to calculate.
