Testing out these weird buildings I modeled with Silo
I think they fit quite nicely into the scene just add a bit more interest than a load of rocks :
The scene was entirely created within terragen 2 including the planet post processing done in photoshop

just showing a  different approach to the standard conceptual artist's workflow as it would probably take the the average speed painter the same amount of time as I did which was a couple of hours including rendering

lolz yup they are actually flatter than they appear it was either giant skittles or giant surf boards!

I like it. Surrealism is fun. I did one with some heads I made using Blender. It was only an experiment, so I did not work too much with it. It's become one of my most popular Flickr images.
