This image is primarily a test of Tangled_Universe's new 'Sand shader' file. Although the settings were not used here, by working with the power fractal, one may make adjustments to achieve redirection of the ripple effect. This first image does not have displacement in the base layer giving the elevated terrain a flat appearance; whereas, the second image (appearing on the next post) has the displacement set; but, the result of which, minimizes the sand coverage greatly. My plans are to start another test image which hopefully will display a much larger area of sand and its rippling effects.
Exciting stuff here; I am looking forward to producing more images using this file - there are a lot of possibilities.
