Utilizing what you guys have taught me in this forum concerning rocks, stones, and many other aspects of what TG2 can do AND using a couple of Walli's bushes from his 'Bush Pack' at NWDA' new site, then this is my latest piece of work. The Cholla and the Juniper that you can't see very much of on the right were free objects from Autodesk. The terrain is one of mine made in World-Machine 2.

Agree with Frank. Despite the oddish background mountains this has a very realistic "being there" feel to it.
The sense of depth created by the foreground models works very well.
Nice use of (Frank's?) stones and I think my latest sandshader could really like nice in this one

Thanks guys, much appreciated and I agree with the distant Mtns rockface did not come as I wanted it to be a little redder instead of brown and I am sure from what I have seen of your 'Sand Shader' Martin that it would enhance the foreground tremendously. Maybe a few dead grasses in the foreground, too!!!

It would be neat to have an animal in this. Like a bird or lizard. I think it would really help an already very realistic image.

We have the rattle snake here in Southern New York also. Different species, but just as delicious!

Just did a Google search and you have the Timber Rattle Snake (Crotalus horridus) down where you are I was thinking more along the lines of either the Eastern Diamondback Rattle Snake (Crotalus adamanteus) or the Western Diamondback Rattle Snake (Crotalus atrox) depending on where this image would be it where a real place.

You have some great eyes and their comments looking at this one Mark; and, it is among some of the very best TG2 work you have done. I believe you have captured the flavor of the high desert beautifully. Somewhere between the low and high desert, the background here fits perfectly. Keep on; you've got a great handle on this program and picture composition!

chononr states my feelings well. The image is marvelous.
It would have to be the western variety. Much of the east of the USA is forest or pasture.
