Render Button/Save Button

I did a render last night. When I got off work, I wanted to hit 'SAVE", instead I hit 'RENDER". Thankfully it was only a five hour render. Could the two buttons be moved apart more?

i did the same thing on a 49 hours render some weeks ago !!! lol

It would have been in your Terragen Temp folder ...

if/when the render window saves images this shouldn't be a problem anymore...

a while back in Houdini the undo window had two buttons, 'Undo' and 'Clear Undo History', and they were REALLY close together...

Hi,
have the same trouble with these buttons, especially when i am doing fast testrenders --so it hurts not sooooo much

. And for unkown reasons i cant find this "temp" image. Not in windows temp, nor program directory.
I am using windows vista 64 bit.

On Windows, go to File -> Explore Temporary Files. The folders names are ordered by date (although it's not a human-friendly date), so the most recent renders will be in the last folder if the folders are sorted by name.

On the Mac the menu item is called Reveal Temporary Files.

Somewhat related, is there any way to have it default to save the .exr instead of the .bmp in the temp folder?

Forgot about that. I may change the default file so all the renders get saved in one of my picture directories. Easier to find and I can clear them out manually. Glary Utilities does a great job, but it takes time to use effectively.

Edit: Just looked. The images are only 320 x 200. Might look pretty good on a Amiga 1000. A least it was not a long render. I can watch a couple movies and it will be rendered again.

There are different folders for your different render nodes. There should be a copy of every render, at whatever resolution you rendered.

It's good to know about Explore/Reveal Temporary Files because the temp folder is taking up space on your hard drive! We really need to make Terragen scan this folder and warn you when it gets too large.

being able to specify a custom folder would also help...
