Welcome!
Terragen 2 uses keyframing. The Animation option is required (I think). The program takes the keyframes and outputs a script itself, which then can be rendered, frame by frame.
I have not done this yet. I need to upgrade to the animation package. The few animations I have seen are good.

Also yes, you need the animation module for the buttons for key framing to appear.

If you have not purchased the Deep+Animation version, you cannot animate with TG2.
