Thanks Oshyan. I am looking for a new system, but it will be some time before I can get one. The I7 CPU would be the best option, but Quad Cores are becoming more reasonable price wise. By the time I can get an new system, the I7 will be less pricey.

WOW, it's so cheap, for this price here, i can only buy some common pcs: 250gb hd, 2gb ram, dual core processor, etc...
It's a shame import taxes could raise it to allmost 2,5 times its price. Here I can find some like that but i think they will be for US$ 1200.

I bought only a mainboard , a quad 2.66 (not i7) and an ati 3200(?) for nearly this price 3 months ago .

And if you consider our income here , it gets only worse.

Whats the total amount of RAM one can put on a 64 bit system? And will TG2 benefit by all this amount???

Hah!!! My memory isn't computing recently very good!. After your " Really "  comment i remembered that there was a 750 Watt PSU  too at the list...but the point doesn't change (too) much . Sorry  

I heard somewhere that with windows 7 you can go up to 256 GB or so. In vista it was 64 i think. But finding such a mainbord and the cash it is another thing

But TG2 has to be first 64 bit to benefit.

TG2 can take advantage of only up to 4GB of RAM in a 64 bit system/OS environment currently. But we do have plans to go to 64 bit for the rendering system which will make it able to take advantage of basically as much RAM as you have. Most desktop Core i7's max out at between 16 and 32GB currently. Which is still a lot.
