I insist about the DOF :D

Joke aside , someone from you will maybe say something about this , but most of the time DOF on the foreground make the things in pictures like miniatures... DOF on the backround not so...

I see this as a miniature ... Is this only me ?

Nothing to say other then this. I like it :)

Kadri.

Well there is a technic in photography called "Diorama" where you can change a photo of a real landscape into something resembling a miniature.

Believe me, these are real jets:

Nice :D

They really look like  miniatures.

How is the DOF being achieved here.  Is it blur or plugin in PS, or using DOF tecnique in TG2?

Thanks , ThinkPink.
Please don't take our/mine talking about DOF and such as a negative approach .
This picture is realy nice. It has a artistic feeling.

Cheers.

@MacGyver: Richtig!  ;) Ich komme aus dem Großraum Stuttgart. Ich verstehe was Du meinst ...

@all others (in my "german english"  :D)
Right! I'm from Germany near Stuttgart. I think I know what you mean ... perhaps it is like often with visual illusions, the first look on an image counts. I tried it several times to see the trees as "miniatures" - no chance  ;D I am a photographer (landscapes) and that why I played with the DOF ...

MacGyver ,are you from Germany too? I used to live 35 years ago  near Darmstadt (in Niederramstadt).
It would be nice to accidentaly meeting old friends here  ;D

Okey,back to topic :)

ThinkPink , can you show us some of your photos please?

Kadri.

ThinkPink

@Kadri: my own homepage:   www.imago-photodesign.de/landscapes.html  "Landschaften" (landscapes) is my current work. All Black & White. If you click on "Galerie" and then "Portrait", "Akt" (nude) or "Hochzeiten" (weddings) you can see old stuff i made several years ago.

You can also find images there: http://view.stern.de/de/profile/OliH

Bigger... yes. BUT still amazing photos. The HDR one of the mountains is awesome... and the rolls of hay in the field (my fav)... and the rest of them, well, they're all nice. Great work.
Cheers,
Simon.
I just need to tweak that texture a bit more...
