..the "hero tree"  is called the noble one. Autumn and winter version, also a third tree is on board.

Please keep in mind, those trees are pretty heavy, both from poly count side and from texture resolution side - so use them on your own risk ;-)

Thank you so much Walli! This looks perfect for a scene that I've been toying with :)

Seriously... wow and many thanks.
Simon.
I just need to tweak that texture a bit more...

214 MB? I thought something was going wacky with the download. I put my firewall into emergency stop and ran the scanner. Now I understand why. I will try it again sometime soon. It looks too good to resist!

yes, the textures alone have well beyond 100mb (uncompressed), I think the bark texture has 3072*5148 pixels. By the way - I used the color bitmap inside the displacement slot of the bark - if you want to, you can use the *_rel.tif files for the displacement/bump channel

super tree, Walli...thanks a million!

Zylot

Walli, I don't know about the tree, but I know you are the hero here.

Walli, this is absolutely outstanding. The tree bark and its colors are striking and remind me of the several different varieties of desert trees we have out here in the Sonora desert. They have the greenish bark with roughness at the base. Thank you so much for your generosity!

Thank you Walli. I haven't used anything from you yet. But i have a image in mind.
There is a big tree , maybe  i will use your tree with some modification.
Botanic accuracy isn't much a concern for me  :D

I respect people like you.
When i have made the images i have in mind i will share some of the objects here too.
I like this community.

Thanks again.
