Mount Hood

Here's a new & very different version of an old scene using a DEM of Mt Hood.
Using Walli's Pine trees and Xfrog trees. C&C welcome.

The only thing I saw I did not think looked right were the clouds. They look airbrushed. Maybe stretching them along one axis, more wispy, and using less edge sharpness would help. The rest looks pretty good.

The image looks a little bright to me - I'd be tempted to take the exposure down a stop.

They're the ones posted by Matt with a few tweaks, one being a stretch along the x axis.

My monitor is a piece of _____ when I am trying to do anything with color. I will probably buy a new one soon. Because Dell did not make a Vista driver for mine, I am really stuck. But it was free with the computer.
I am sure that monitors everywhere have differing abilities and quality. We have to do the best we can.

Agree about sky. It looks a little flat. Well conveys a sense of space!
