Thanks for making this clear, you guys.  I don't believe I could quite as readily find so many diverse yet clear understandings of technology as easily and as compacted as on Planetside's site.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

The very least we could do was make things more confusing. I am looking for a new system also. It will take months to save for, but it will be necessary. My computer's getting too old to some of the stuff I am running on it.

njeneb, I don't think that article explains it right, that v chip, that all the I7's have is only needed for seamless operation.
If you want a link to quickbooks 99 Pro on your win7 desktop the chip allows that and starts QBPro99 and runs as if in win 7 mode.
Without the chip, you have to start virtual pc - xp-pro and then start QBPro99 from the xp desktop.

Look on the first page of this thread ... Jo answered that. 64 bit support has been pushed back a bit to do items about to be released, then they'll get back into it.

It was a couple months ago that I read this, but most XP games will not run or run poorly in Windows 7. The article was on CNET. I guess my days in Oblivion are numbered. :'(

i installed windows 7 the tuesday night, and installed oblivion :) last night along with my mods and save files, the only problem i had were some sound issues, which i am sure could fixed easily

Oblivion works? Good news. I have not found anything I like to play other than Oblivion yet. I have been thinking about downloading the source for Zangband. Then making a game from that using Blender; I must be getting desperate.

njeneb if you liked Oblivion you might like Dragon Age.

Henry Blewer

Have it, hate it. :( Dragon Age just is not the type of RPG I like.

Dragon age would be good if they used decent controls. But because Bioware made it, it's just a point and click adventure game instead of the action RPG it should be.
Figured out how to do clicky signatures

There is too much waiting around for people standing around talking. They could have done some cut shots from different angles which might have made this a little more interesting. I like to watch movies, but in a RPG I want to go kill. >:(
