For me the POV is the greatest improvement here, funnily enough. The trees on the left in the foreground aren't cut off but lead the eye up the slope to the background plus on the right there are less empty spaces visible. Will be interesting to watch how this develops :)

New version! I have made a few changes, most noticably to the terrain in the forground and I've worked on adding some stones to the shore. The mountain has also been changed and I think it looks much better in this version. That said, I accidentally changed the cloud seed so that part of the image could use some work to get it back up to standard. Also I think i will decrease the coverage of the trees to try and get more of an open feel to the landscape.
