No images recently but I'm still plugging away when I can. This is another cold one, this snow thing won't beat me, I'll be damned!
This uses different intersections now, I'm up to snow shader v.4. The snow itself is easy enough to control when you know how to, it's as much the balancing it with the underlying terrain displacements you need to be able to tame, I'm finding.

Brrr. I would only add some high wispy alto cirrus clouds. The snow looks terrific!

I really like the lite glistening on the left, very snowlike for sure!!!

Simple scene but this is what makes it nice to look at. And nice glistening effect in the snow! :)

Just a re-render with higher sparkle settings and lighter rock colour...

how do you make the snow thick??

This looks great now. It looked great before. This really looks more snowy somehow. I think it is the white coverage is more convincing.
