Exo botanic/ astro biology
Amphora luminis:
Height: approx 1m
Diameter: approx 2.5m
Usually found in forests on Ro-Zeta. Likes light and therefor can be found at clearings. Apart from photosynthesis, it produces energy in the night....as carnivore.

The zip contains obj, c4d and tgo object.

Above renders were made with Cinema4D.
Download can be found right here:

Thank you Walli. I have wanted a pitcher type plant for my renders. This will fit in well with the ferns in the pines pack.

Thanks Walli....I think I'd go for any of your free files even if they took a week to download :)
I also think you deserve a special award or at least a title for all the exceptional object files you have contributed...
perhaps...The Tree Czar or....The Plant King or....Triple F....The Free Foliage Freak....no, no...not that one :)....anyway....
Thanks so much!

by the way - as I said, the tgo setup is pretty basic so far. I think you can imrpvoe the look by:
-finetuning displacement on leaves
-probably by using the spec or displacement map to improve the look of translucency
-work a little bit on the speculars

In the Cinema version I used a setupt with two sided leaves - upper side a darker, more reflective green, down side brighter, desaturated and dull. Two sided setupt would be nice in TG too...

I just hope you did'nt bring one back with you, an alien invasive species like that would be a biological distaster.

i'm working a new rendering featuring the Amphora Luminis :)
