Here is a couple of views of Marc's new bristle pine. The tree is only rotated 120 degrees to show the 'back' of the tree.

Thanks for testing the Pine. It helps to see how it will be used and also identify problems. As you mentioned in your email it needs to go deeper in the ground when used on uneven terrain. I'm working on this now.

Sweet terrain creation.

Can't say I'm familiar with that species of tree, fine model though. But those rocks and scrub are a triumph.

Actually, I was not very happy with the rocks. But I have a new girlfriend and sort of rushed things.

nice rocks too...i would like to see more oblique lighting maybe, and congrats on the new tree (and gf!)... a tough choice I am sure

Well, it's nice to have a new woman in my life. The rocks aren't bad, but some more detail would have been ok.
She thinks I'm brilliant from the renders I have done. So, I will not let her see any of your renders. Let her find out what a moron I am the old fashioned way, by the experience.

Henry, that is a fine example of what one can do with these models. I wish you guys could see live examples of these in Utah; and, yes, they do grow out of the rocks sometimes.

That's a really nice search. I bookmarked it for reference. The thumbnails made me think of FrankB's canyon render. I saved a copy of that one, and use it for a backdrop. It's very inspiring for me.
