Thanks for your comments. I agree that it's a bit too sharp and could still use some work.
Kadri- Thank you for asking. My dad is holding his own. He has some good days and others are not so good. We understand that's not unusual with Alzheimers. We just found out that the shots he's been getting for anemia (from kidney disease) are no longer working. His hemoglobin has been dangerously low and his bone marrow is failing. At 88, he's not a candidate for a transplant and will need blood transfusions for the remainder of his life. We feel blessed to still have him with us (all 10 of us kids), but know his time is relatively short. I will be going up there again on the 11th, unless I need to sooner.
I'm here in the forum more as a silent learner now.
