High Desert Lake: another perspective

Hi All,
For those of you who may be interested, I've uploaded the tgd file for this render to the file section.
For flattening low spots in the terrain, I used the settings from 'Hetzen's Blend Displacement at zero.tgd' file available in the Forum: http://forums.planetside.co.uk/index.php?topic=8638.new;topicseen#new.
The ground cover(gc3) was created by Ogre and is available at Ashundar. Thanks, Ogre!
Postwork includes contrast tweak, sharpening and re-sizing.

Good render. I think you may have used a little too much sharpening. If you feel like doing another render, try the catmull-rom pixel filter. It does a 'crisp' look for rendering.

Yes it seems a little sharp. But nice.  I liked especially the clouds  

How is your Father , Linda ? You didn't post for some time ...

Thanks for your comments.  I agree that it's a bit too sharp and could still use some work.

Kadri- Thank you for asking.  My dad is holding his own.  He has some good days and others are not so good. We understand that's not unusual with Alzheimers.  We just found out that the shots he's been getting for anemia (from kidney disease) are no longer working.  His hemoglobin has been dangerously low and his bone marrow is failing.  At 88, he's not a candidate for a transplant and will need blood transfusions for the remainder of his life.  We feel blessed to still have him with us (all 10 of us kids), but know his time is relatively short.  I will be going up there again on the 11th, unless I need to sooner.

I'm here in the forum more as a silent learner now.

I like the overall image and especially the light/atmo/clouds. They complete this beautiful scene.

Not an easy thing . My Father died at 59 in 1994 .To soon ! But such a thing is no time too late at all .
