There used to be an execelant site for extreemly high resolution planetary maps (only earth , Moon and Mars) called, I think, spacegraphics.com. The guy that made the site had painstakingly stitched together loads of Nasa and Blue marble images to make some of the best planetary maps I have ever seen. The site has been MIA for quite some time now. I was wondering if anyone had any news of its whereabouts or if it had resurfaced under a differant name. Fortunately I had already downloaded most of his High res maps but there was always the promise of more.
Thanks

Spacegraphics.com definitely existed and it seems to be the website you described (see this page). Unfortunately, I can't find anything useful on archive.org...

A shame that site seems to have disappeared. I remember it being a great resource!

There's high res earth available here:
http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Newsroom/BlueMarble/BlueMarble_monthlies.html
The highest res (500m/pixel) requires bittorent.

Or here:
http://visibleearth.nasa.gov/view_set.php?categoryID=2364
It has earthmaps of  21600 x 10800 In TIFF (173.5MB)

Thanks guys
I've got the blue marble stuff, pretty impressive if you got the ram !! I was looking for his site because he hand matched the individual plates and imho I think he did a better job than NASA.

Thanks for sharing those alternative sites.  I've never really looked at this stuff, but it appears interesting :).
