"time sink" absolutely! 1-2 days before i was nearly late to work because of this site.
I  was tempted to put too many links here. Maybe the best is a reminder like "Go to cracked.com" sticky topic

I do the same as you (try at least) . But i doubt  if this is the right strategy .
Because then when i stumble there , there are too many new articles to read then
