this is just the first part of several scenes i will animate, each one is intended to match specific parts of a music track i have chosen as a soundtrack.

the animation for this storyboard is about 33secs

C&C welcome.

there will be a total of 9 storyboards, along with 9 larger renders for better views.

I like especially tere-1  Lane! It reminds me on 2001: A Space Odyssey  :)

the plan so far:
sun & moons goes down, darkness, transition to next storyboard, thick clouds fade away revealing the next landscape.

I like this. Looks like the start of a show in a planetarium.

Its really nice. Deserves a larger render. Shame about the banding. Im sure its just compression though?

i would like to do a larger version but it would take longer than it did before, this one was about 5-6 days non stop rendering.

if i do a larger version (say like 1280x720) i would like to do it with ranch computing.

there is some banding but looks a little less noticable in the stills

Very good, moody, it builds an expectancy, out of the dark, almost stillness I have a feeling of foreboding, of terrible violence to come ... very effective indeed
Looking forward to the rest

exactly. the music is, in my opinion fitted to match the landscapes, i have always pictured something like these barren landscapes listening to it.

before i even started working on it, i listened to the song over and over again, studying it.

I like the look and the music fits nicely too!

to save time on building scenes i'm using some old renders for animations
