Hello everyone, new here and was hoping to get involved with the community and support here on terragen. I decided to try the software after nothing but headaches when using vue, so hoping i have more success using terragen.
I've just started using it and have a couple of questions; when rotating there seems to be some banking occuring and im not sure why, is it something to do with local camera transforms?
And also i was wondering how well terragen works with Maya, can anything be imported? What about MR rendering?
Thanks

Oshyan

Rotation is relative to the coordinate origin, not to the planet. If it appears to be banking, it's probably not doing so relative to coordinate origin, but may be doing so relative to the planet, especially if you're far away from said coordinate origin. You can choose a Look at as well as Orbit Point using buttons on the bottom of the 3D Preview (hover over them for tooltips to see which is which), and that may help you get the camera adjustment you want. You can also pop-out the manual camera adjustment panel in the upper-right of the 3D Preview.

TG2 can export geometry (but not textures) to Maya in OBJ format using a Microexporter (documentation in our Wiki here: http://www.planetside.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=Micro_Exporter ). FBX can also be imported and exported for exchanging camera and other animation data: http://www.planetside.co.uk/wiki/index.php?title=FBX_Reference
TG2 doesn't use or directly interface with any 3rd party renderers.
