Warping Planets

I've been trying to get a 'bludgy' look to planets, but I can't seem to do it. When I pipe in some extreme scales, instead of a rocky, "Deimos" or "Phobos" styles asteroid like moons, I get blocky, squared of edges resembling a standard rock object.

Is there a way I can achieve this effect with a planet? I have tried the rock object, but it seems to just crash Terragen after a certain scale at about 1/50 an actual moons scale.

Not sure  about "bludgy"...

Cool stuff, but even cooler for me, I just noticed the translate button at the top right of my google chrome browser. Highlight some text and click that button and it gives excellent translation, and additional input like explaining the context of "Not at all"

Not at all
interjection
Not at all!, You're welcome!, Don't mention it!

plus audio in both languages....best drop down this week.

Chrome has not been my main browser for a few months now unfortunately since the engine bug causing new pages to lag out for minutes before loading. Even a blank new tab. Lol

Thanks for the information guys, just what I was looking if not a bit too rough like asteroid, but definitely get the idea now. Will post with some results in a few minutes.

Update: Here is what I did earlier

Update: Is there a way to stretch/warp the object so not each object is based on a circular design, but a oval design or similar. Giving it a more natural asteroid look.
