Like the form of your terrain (edit I had said 'textures' and meant 'terrain').

When you're ready for something new, learn Fake Stones.  I am beginning to believe if you get a good fake stone with textures created from only TG2 nodes (no images), you'll be on your way to some good texturing for the terrain.
So this is Disney World.  Can we live here?

Seth

thank you ! i'll try fake stone texture as soon as i can  :)

Seth

here is some improvement... my problem is : how can i get rid of those pixels in my rays ?  ???

In the atmosphere node, go to quality and increase the atmosphere samples.  Start by increasing to 64, and see if that helps enough.

i hope it's better than the first one

Hi Seth,

I think it's definitely better than the first ones! Nice snow on the stratas and really good looking clouds. Cirrus-clouds are a nice toch too.

I like this a lot! I think you did a good thing with the cloud cover- the distant terrain seemed to be just filling space- a bit bland. I think you should try and keep the distinct lines of shadow from the first pic as it makes for a better composition and with that deep shadow it even looks like you have the suggestions of a cave behind that overhang. Maybe pic 1 and 3 light setup are irreconcilable I don't know- both are sweet images.

perhaps with a second sun... i will try to get that shadow back ^^
thanks !

This is taking on a life of its own.  I like the work on the clouds, the layers of clouds, the sky is a good color, the rocks of the cliff look pretty realistic, and the whole scene looks good.

Some great improvement here! It's really nice to see how the scene it's coming out - keep working!

Seth

a little more texture on the rock and some change in atmo...
not a final yet though...  :D
