Wanted to play with stones a little.
I suppose there won't be any scale issue :)

This is very cool Kadri. 8)

Great, I like it!
I could imagine only some clouds and perhaps darker blue of the sky - but nothing else to not disturb the impression.

Thanks guys.

The sky was much bluer and i tried some clouds too.
Subjective of course but the rocks are so busy the image feels too heavy(?) with those things added to me.
I was going to make the sky nearly full white even.

Thanks.
I am still surprised sometimes the way Terragen works.
There are many problems because of the excessive displacement but even so close to the rocks it holds up rather nice.
It does have kind of a painted look to me.

Maybe.

That rock looks awesome! Maybe an overcast/thunderstorm sky would fit? To keep the lighting on the rocks you could use some localised cloud layers to make them appear only in the background.

Thanks. Tried exactly the same Hannes :)
But i wasn't satisfied with the clouds. Might try later ones again maybe.
Still working on the animation. This was kinda a doddle because of the lately upcoming Mars images here around.

Very neat rocks. I wouldn't too much to distract either, perhaps a tiny clump of dry grass somewhere, just to give it some life. And maybe you need a little more GI to illuminate the dark shadows under the crevices? It wasn't until the crop that I spotted the hammer.... I was already wondering what the title was all about.

Thanks.
Because it was in the beginning a Mars kinda planet i haven't thought about vegetation.Might play with it later.
I made the shadows knowingly darker Ulco but i am not sure which one is better.
I thought the picture needed more contrast over the rocks with some plain parts.
I will try to post another one to see what you guys think about it.

A bluer sky test should be done too :)

If i can get it the way i want , maybe this could be a basis for an asteroid object too.

Immidiately thought of that hammer, but couldn't spot it in the first pic, too.
Maybe making it a bit more prominent would help.
Anyway, nice idea to make a pic of that hammer. 8) ;D

Rendering another one with clouds and some grass.
Looks promising in low quality. Not sure about the grass.
I changed the color of the rocks too.
But the render will take a long time.

Mee too, thought it was some sort of local name for an outcropping of rock. re: the hammer Kadri, seems to be sunk into the rock a bit.
